About us

"sine ira, at studio" — without rancour, with commitment.

Sandro Teti Editore was founded in Rome in 1988 as an independent publishing house with a clear vocation: to bring to Italy voices and perspectives often ignored by the major international publishing circuits.

Over more than thirty years of activity, we have published hundreds of titles in history, geopolitics and international culture, with particular attention to the Russian and Eastern European world, ancient and medieval history, and Italian popular culture.

The series Russians and Italy has become a reference point for scholars and readers interested in the cultural dialogue between Russia and Italy. The Calendar of the People, founded in 1949, is today one of the longest-running popular culture journals in the Italian publishing landscape.
